This week, RGS pupils and budding directors, producers and film fanatics, donned their finery to attend the very glamorous, RGS Film Maker’s Festival.
Young musicians from the RGS Worcester Wind Band have had a busy week of performances and events, sharing a love of music with other local schools.

What an amazing weekend at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival! The weather was fantastic and the transformation of a piece of grass into a Jubilee inspired garden was, in a word, awesome!
The off-season came to a sudden end this weekend with Greenpower racing starting again in full, with team ‘Superformance’ making the long journey down to the iconic Goodwood race track on Sunday 8 May.
We were delighted to hear that two RGS pupils, Maxwell Moses and Theo Houston both from Year Eight, have been selected by the Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) to play in the National Core and National Development Squad respectively.
Over the May Bank holiday weekend RGS fencers travelled to the ‘England Institute of Sport’ in Sheffield, to take part in the ‘British Youth Championships’ National Age Group Finals.
With 14 Cricket fixtures played last weekend for both Boys and Girls teams, the Cricket season has certainly got off to a busy start at RGS!
At the Year Eight Teatime Concert in Perrins Hall last Thursday, audiences were treated to pupils performing a diverse range of music, spanning a variety of styles and range of instruments.
