Former RGS Worcester pupil Alice Atkinson has been selected to represent England at the Hockey World Cup, marking another outstanding milestone in her international career.

Students at RGS Worcester are celebrating today after achieving an excellent set of A Level, BTEC and CTEC results, with the School’s largest ever Upper Sixth cohort securing places at leading universities, competitive degree apprenticeships and a wide range of exciting future destinations.

Pupils from The RGS Worcester Family of Schools showcased their leadership in digital innovation, sharing their experiences with school leaders and educators from around the world at a global education summit hosted at RGS Worcester.

RGS Worcester was delighted to officially open the new Mahjoor Innovation Centre this week, a flexible and forward-thinking learning space designed to support collaboration, creativity and problem-solving across the School.

RGS Worcester is proud to have been awarded the School Games Gold Mark Award for the second year running, recognising the School’s continued commitment to Physical Education, School Sport and physical activity.

The House competition came to an exciting conclusion this week, following a busy Trinity term of academic, sporting and creative challenges.

RGS Worcester enjoyed an excellent week as hosts of the 39th RGS Schools’ Cricket Festival, bringing together six Royal Grammar Schools for five days of competitive Cricket, outstanding individual performances and several record-breaking moments.

A group of Year Ten pupils visited Oxford University as part of its Open Day, gaining valuable insight into University life, the admissions process and the opportunities available beyond school.

The RGS Worcester Family of Schools has continued to develop its Educational Partnerships programme this year, delivering more than 60 events for around 2,600 pupils across Worcestershire.

The RGS Worcester community has once again shown generous support this year, raising just under £9,000 for a wide range of charities.

Last Friday, Headmaster, Mr John Pitt, attended the launch of the English Civil Wars Banner Project at Worcester Guildhall, celebrating a project in which RGS Worcester has played an important role.

This summer, RGS Worcester is offering a Rowing Sports Camp for children from the local area, providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills, build confidence and enjoy high-quality coaching in a supportive sporting environment.
