Academic
RGS Worcester is an inclusive, academically ambitious school with a long-standing tradition of excellence. Our commitment begins with high-quality teaching delivered by expert teachers who provide individual attention and tailored support. At the heart of our approach is a genuinely personalised education, giving pupils freedom of subject choice beyond the core GCSEs. This empowers them to shape their studies around their interests, strengths and ambitions.
This flexible learning environment develops a genuine love of learning, builds academic confidence, and ensures pupils remain engaged and motivated. Ultimately, it equips them with the qualifications and skills to progress to leading universities in the UK and around the world.
Digital Learning and AI
RGS Worcester’s renowned Digital Learning and AI Programme ensures that every pupil develops the confidence, creativity and digital skills required to excel in a rapidly evolving world. We are proud to be the only Apple Distinguished School in the region, recognised by Apple as one of the most innovative schools globally.
This technology-rich environment supports personalised learning, independence, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with iPads used only when they add genuine meaning and value. We were also the first school in the world to receive the Good Schools Foundation Gold Quality Mark for AI, recognising our pioneering work in integrating artificial intelligence ethically and effectively into education.
Through this innovative approach, pupils are prepared to become future leaders in technology, ready to thrive in higher education and beyond.
Pastoral Care
Exceptional Pastoral Care lies at the heart of school life, ensuring every pupil is known, valued and supported as an individual. This nurturing environment ensures pupils enjoy a fulfilling school experience and develop a quiet self-assurance, with parents frequently remarking that our pastoral care ‘sets RGS apart from other schools’.
