On Tuesday 14 March, RGS Worcester hosted its first TeachMeet in partnership with the University of Worcester.

Swapping their school bags for hiking packs, Year Nine pupils began their expedition section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award last Friday with a dedicated training weekend.

RGS Worcester golfers competed at the Gloucestershire Schools Championship at Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club, with 87 players taking part, representing 25 schools and colleges alongside 30 golf clubs.

RGS Worcester was delighted to welcome visiting pupils from Japan to the School towards the end of last term as part of a cultural exchange programme designed to share experiences of school life and broaden global understanding.

Head of Hockey and Head of the RGS Athlete Development Programme, Miss Sally Walton OLY, represented England at the Indoor Hockey Masters World Cup over the Easter holiday, helping her team secure the World Cup title at the University of Nottingham.

Former RGS Worcester pupil Haineala Lutui has achieved an incredible milestone in her Rugby career, making her debut for England’s Senior Women’s team, the Red Roses.

Significant development work has taken place across the School site over the Easter holiday, with a number of key projects completed and further major developments now underway.

RGS Worcester enjoyed a highly successful week at the Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens Tournament, with multiple age groups delivering outstanding performances against some of the strongest schools in the country.

Over the Easter holiday CCF Cadets travelled to the Isle of Man for their annual adventurous activities expedition, taking part in a packed programme designed to develop teamwork, resilience and leadership.

As part of the School’s Careers Programme, we welcomed Old Elizabethan Alice Dudley back to school to share her journey from Sixth Form to a Degree Apprenticeship in construction, offering valuable insight into alternative pathways beyond University.

The 2026 Cricket season began on Sunday at Flagge Meadow, as the 1st XI took on a strong Alumni XI in the annual Allen Cup fixture.

Miss Baker, Assistant Head of Year Seven and Teacher of Mathematics, will take on the London Marathon next Sunday in support of Alzheimer’s Society.

On Saturday 28 March, the annual Old Elizabethan Football Tournament returned to Flagge Meadow, bringing together former pupils from across the years for a day of competitive sport and good company.
