A key element of the Fencing calendar, the RGS Fencing Gala, sadly had to be cancelled last year. This year, with careful measures in place and with a reduced capacity entry list, we were able once again to host this popular event.
Last Friday, RGS Worcester took a bumper number of Cross-Country runners to RGS The Grange to compete against six other Worcester schools in the District Cross-Country Championships.
Eight keen RGS Tennis players plan to travel down to The National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, to take part in a 24-hour Tennis Marathon. The Tennis marathon aims to raise money for Bright Ideas for Tennis, to support the expansion of the GB Tennis disability programme.
Fiery, passionate, uncompromising at times, and always the advocate for pupils achieving their best outcomes, Mrs Ellie Caple, Head of Chemistry, will definitely be remembered at RGS!
RGS Worcester has once again enjoyed the lead up to the Christmas holidays with many festive events including: ‘Christmas with Big Band’, the Carol Concert in Worcester Cathedral.
We are delighted to announce that the RGS Worcester Family of Schools have been selected for inclusion in this year’s Edtech 50 Award Yearbook.
Last Monday evening, the Godfrey Brown Theatre played host to the annual ‘Christmas with the Big Band’ concert; and what a concert it was!
Last weekend, Year Eleven pupil Emelia Hughes, represented England at the 2021 Junior National Indoor Archery Championships at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
