Welcome to our Pre-School Room – For children aged 3-4 Years

Growing in Confidence and Independence

Our Pre-School Room is designed for children aged 3 to 4 in their year before starting school, supporting them as they become more confident, independent and ready for their next steps.

In this room, children take on new challenges, build friendships and develop key skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

While still play-based, the day includes more structure to help children prepare for school.

  • Morning circle time to start the day together
  • Group activities and shared learning experiences
  • A fresh home cooked lunched prepared daily on site
  • Daily specialist sessions such as outdoor learning, music, dance or baking
  • Opportunities for independent play and exploration
  • Outdoor time and physical activity

Developing Key Skills

In the Pre-School room, we focus on building the foundations children need for school and beyond.

For children continuing their journey within The RGS Worcester Family of Schools, we offer a carefully planned and in-depth transition programme designed to make the move to Reception at RGS The Grange smooth, familiar and exciting. Through regular visits, shared activities and opportunities to spend time with teachers and in the classroom environment, children build confidence and feel fully comfortable with their new surroundings well before their first day.
