On Monday 6 February, RGS Worcester had the pleasure of welcoming a leading George Orwell expert, Dr Nathan Waddell from Birmingham University. Dr Waddell spoke to the Senior Literary Society on the topic, ‘Why did George Orwell write Nineteen Eighty-Four?’.
We are delighted to announce that three RGS Worcester students have received offers from the prestigious Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Ben Sears, Isaac McManus, and Ben Holland have all secured a place to pursue their chosen academic studies.

The annual House Indoor Rowing competition took place on Tuesday 7 February in the Performing Arts Centre which had been transformed from a performance space into a wash of flashing technicolour, complete with a disco ball, rowing machines and a huge display screen for pupils to track their House and their competitors.
