RGS is thrilled to have been shortlisted and to have made it to the final three schools nominated for the IDPE (Institute of Development Professionals in Education) Schools’ Award for Ambition and Progress.

The final Greenpower race of the season started with a very early morning, with our Racing Team leaving RGS Worcester at 5.00am to travel to the iconic Goodwood race circuit.

Autumn has well and truly arrived at The RGS Worcester Family of Schools, and we have been enjoying a host of Autumnal festivities and activities.
In a nail-biting match at the Worcester International Hockey Centre, the 1st XI Hockey teams of RGS Worcester and King’s School battled fiercely for the prestigious Hockey Severn Shield.
On Monday this week, RGS held its first Teatime Concert of the academic year, performed by pupils in Year Eleven.
Between last Thursday evening and Sunday, pupils went away to various locations and spent their evening sleeping under canvas for their Duke of Edinburgh Awards or with the CCF Army, Navy and RAF Sections for their Field Weekend.
Last weekend, we warmly welcomed Year Six pupils from a number of local schools to our Sports Taster Morning.
RGS Geography pupils have been studying in the field over the last couple of weeks, enjoying a visit to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and a visit closer to home to Diglis Basin in Worcester.
