Last year, the RGS Worcester Family of Schools ran the first ever Giving Day, and what a huge success it was, enabling nine new pupils to join our Schools with Bursary Awards.
During the Easter holiday, Upper Sixth students Ala Lutui and Dan Halkon showcased their talent at the Women and Men’s Under 18 Six Nations Festival.
The new term began with Expedition Weekend and Duke of Edinburgh trips at Gold (Lower Sixth) and Silver (Year Ten) levels as well as the CCF Royal Navy trip to HMS Excellent and RAF trip to RAF Cosford.
Over the Easter holiday, the Army Section of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) visited the Isle of Man to participate in an Army Camp.
Our first concert of the term took place on Tuesday when six of our instrumental groups performed in Perrins Hall for the Spring Ensembles Concert.
During the Easter holiday, the Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Department participated in a French Exchange to Nantes and a German Exchange to Emden.
Next month, Director of Drama, Mrs Jilly Witcomb and Teacher of Drama, Mr Jak Garrity will take to the stage to perform in Jim Cartwright’s play ‘Two’.

Last Friday, RGS Worcester and RGS The Grange hosted the second Digital Learning ‘Study Tour’.
Over Easter, we had the honour of welcoming Her Majesty Queen Camilla for her visit to Worcester Cathedral for the Maundy Service.
The last week of the Lent term marked the eagerly anticipated arrival of the annual Rosslyn Park National Schools 7s Competition.
Congratulations to Ridhima Canchi and Dylan Hatchitt who competed in the Regional semi-finals of the English Speaking Union Performing Shakespeare competition.
During the Easter holidays, RGS rowers seized the opportunity to participate in a Rowing Camp at Eton Dorney.
