This year’s final Chamber Choir rehearsal encompassed everything from Elizabethan Madrigals to a captivating jazz standard, culminating in an ABBA Medley that drew inspiration from the memorable closing performance of the ‘Best of the West End’ concert at Birmingham Symphony Hall.
After a very successful year of Drama at RGS, the talent of some of our pupils will be showcased again in the WODYS (Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section) production of Rogers and Hammerstein’s classical masterpiece ‘Carousel’.
Following the success of last year’s half-day visits, this year the Philosophy and Religion Department joined together with the History Department to run a full day visit to Worcester Cathedral for all Year Seven pupils.
In the RGS Times this week we bid a fond farewell to teaching staff who leave RGS Worcester at the end of this term.

On Sunday 18 June, 45 RGS Hockey players, from Years Seven to Lower Sixth embarked on a trip to the Lee Valley Olympic Park to watch two International Hockey Federation Pro League matches.
Last Saturday we celebrated Rowing at RGS with the annual Rowing Dinner.
