A Family of Schools, Supporting Every Stage
The RGS Worcester Family of Schools offers a complete educational journey:
- RGS Springfield Nursery (2 – 4 years) & RGS Dodderhill Nursery (2-4 Years) – warm, nurturing early years settings
- RGS The Grange (2 – 11 years) – a vibrant, happy prep school with small classes and a nurturing environment
- RGS Worcester (11 – 18 years) – a leading co-educational senior school and Sixth Form with exceptional pastoral care
- RGS Dodderhill (9 – 16 years) – a nurturing, focused, ambitious environment for girls
This breadth allows us to support families with more than one child, and to offer flexibility when considering the right next step.
Ensuring Continuity and Confidence
We know how important it is that your child’s education continues with as little disruption as possible.
Across our schools, we offer:
- A broad and ambitious curriculum
- 25 GCSE subjects and over 30 Sixth Form subjects
- Continuity in subjects such as Textiles, Food & Nutrition, Business and BTEC Sport
- Experienced teaching staff who support pupils joining at key transition points
Our team will work closely with you to ensure a smooth and confident transition, academically and personally.
A Proven Track Record in Supporting Transitions
Moving schools under these circumstances requires experience, sensitivity and careful planning.
The RGS Worcester Family of Schools has significant experience in supporting families through school transitions, including during previous local school closures.
Following the closure of St Mary’s, we welcomed over 50 pupils and several staff into the RGS community – supporting them to settle quickly, continue their studies and feel part of the school from the outset.
During these times, we have:
- Welcomed pupils at key stages, including GCSE and Sixth Form
- Supported friendship groups to move together where possible
- Ensured continuity in teaching, learning and subject pathways
- Provided enhanced pastoral care to help pupils settle quickly and confidently
This experience means we understand both the practical and emotional aspects of transition – and how to get it right.
