Worcester Visions II
Tuesday evening marked the Private View of Worcester Visions II, the third annual public exhibition in Worcester Cathedral of work created by our Lower Sixth artists. Their starting point was a site visit to Worcester Cathedral when students could record their observations through photography and sketching. Over the last term, the students have been developing their own responses, exploring a variety of media from etching to oil paint, and drawing to textiles. The result is an exciting collection of individual work of which our students should be very proud.
Our thanks go to the Dean and Chapter of Worcester Cathedral for providing us with this wonderful opportunity of allowing our students to show their work in the very building that inspired them.
The exhibition can be found in the Dean’s Chapel of Worcester Cathedral and runs until 23 February. Please do visit and see the excellent work.
