Strictly Year Seven Dance
The Year Seven Inter-form dance competition was a huge success again this year. Main Hall was packed with a supporting audience of parents, pupils and staff.

The event began with an introductory dance which all Year Seven girls took part in filling the floor with a display of slick routines to ‘Greased Lightening’. Each Form then performed their own routines, which they had choreographed themselves, to a song of their choice. The routines were developed and practiced over the last few weeks during Form times and were greatly assisted by the Form Tutors and Pastoral Prefects. It was such a treat to witness the clever routines, enjoyment, enthusiasm and most importantly Year Seven letting themselves go and having fun!

Our very own Mrs Bates, Mrs Johnston and Miss Duckworth took on the Strictly judge mantles and decided that 7C were the victors, with a very impressive dance choreographed by Tizzy. A big thank you must go to our judges, the Form Tutors, the Pastoral Prefects, the Caretakers for turning the Main Hall into a dance hall and to all the parents who came along to watch…..and many congratulations to 7C and Mrs Houchin, their Form Tutor.
