RGS Golfers in the Swing
RGS Golfers have had a busy year, with the final golfing action taking place in South Wales at the end of August. Our thanks go to Tim Davis and Mr. Newport who helped to accompany the Year Eleven boys for three days and four rounds of Golf in South Wales.
We were lucky with the weather during a wet spell and played some interesting, varied and challenging golf courses. The overall tour winner was Alfie Cook who saw off a strong charge from brother George as well as Jack Wreghitt. The highlight was two rounds of Golf at Pennard, a links course ranked number two in Wales. The boys were great company and played with excellent spirit and attitude come rain or shine.
