Life’s a Beach for Romeo and Juliet
The DIY Drama Company will be presenting 'Romeo and Juliet' as their second production promises to be a drama highlight of 2016. The company, which includes RGS Drama Scholars, was formed last year and is called DIY as the group take on all aspects of the production from marketing to costume, to stagecraft.
The well-known Shakespeare play will be staged with a modern beach theme and the Godfrey Brown Theatre stage will be covered in sand with beach huts with some characters armed with surf wear as well as swords. The rehearsals are going very well; Charlie Day and Cathy Lunn are very convincing 'star crossed lovers' and we look forward to stellar performances from RGS Worcester Drama Scholars. The whole of the cast are very excited about the opening night on 3 March and will hope that they will be performing to a full house on both nights (3 and 4 March).
Tickets are on sale from Reception or from firstname.lastname@example.org
