Intercambio con Zaragoza
Seventeen students with set off with Mrs Kettle and Dr Beer to Spain and the Instituto Goya, with which RGS Worcester has had an exchange partnership since 2006. Some of the Year Ten exchange students reflect on their experiences:

I loved seeing a different culture and trying new foods. My favourite part of the trip was going to the Bernabeu. I have never been to Zaragoza and I loved the city centre, it was great. I wish we could have stayed for 10 days or two weeks as it all went very quickly.

I really enjoyed the Spanish exchange. I enjoyed speaking lots of Spanish but most of all, I enjoyed visiting the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, it was a great experience! It was also nice to eat some Spanish food, I enjoyed Paella the most!

The Spanish exchange was a great. I got on really well with my exchange partner, I enjoyed both times; when they came here and when we went there. Her family were very welcoming and helped me to learn more Spanish.

I discovered a new part of Spain and extended my Spanish speaking ability. I was really nervous, but I am glad that I did it in the end. We did really fun activities in the week.

I tried to speak and take in as much Spanish as I could but I could definitely understand definitely more than I could speak. I would like to return to other parts of Spain in the future.
