Ben Sears in a unique ‘King John’
Congratulations to Ben Sears, Year Seven who performed in the Worcester Repertory Company’s version of Shakespeare’s ‘King John’ which was staged in Worcester Cathedral around the tomb of the King himself.
Ben said, “It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget! As the Worcester Repertary King John programme says ‘There are commemorations of the death of John all over England this week, but ours will be the only one he attends.’ The scenery around you when you’re acting brings you into character, as it feels so real. The directors, Chris Jaeger and Ben Humphrey, did a great job and thank you to RGS for the support. To perform the play on the anniversary of King John’s death around his tomb was something I will never forget!”
