A Grand Old Trip to York!
Last Monday Years Five and Six set off early on the train to York! We spent from Monday to Friday learning about the settlement of York during the Viking and Medieval periods. We took part in a wide range of activities during the week ranging from being Viking villagers to modern day archaeologists, digging for hidden treasures from Roman remains to antler artefacts. We travelled through time at Jorvik, experiencing the sights, sounds and even smells of Viking York!
