Following the Government announcement on 18 March 2020, the RGSW Family of Schools has been closed to pupils since 6.00 pm on Friday 20 March and moved to remote teaching and learning from Monday 23 March. The Digital Learning Programme in our four schools allows for high-quality teaching and learning for the pupils.
During the lockdown period, our pupils have been remote learning and we invite you to read various blogs written and view some of the films we have made to demonstrate the breadth of learning, by clicking on the buttons below. As things currently stand, we are planning on returning to school in September and welcoming back all pupils, and are currently preparing the site for a safe return under guidelines set out to us by central Government.
In order to support the national effort, RGS Worcester is offering parents on the keyworkers’ list, a supervised provision within school, allowing those children who normally attend RGS the opportunity to attend school so that their parents can continue their vital work. We are also offering a Holiday Club provision for our own pupils.
The RGS Worcester Family of Schools takes the safety and wellbeing of its community very seriously and we are continually monitoring the situation, to ensure we are giving everyone the most up to date information. Staff are available to support pupils and parents if they need any assistance during this difficult time.
For current guidance please visit Public Health England.
RGS Worcester is communicating regularly to update and advise our community directly and is reviewing events daily.
