Me Time at Teatime Concert
On Thursday 6 February, the Year Nine pupils took to Perrins Hall stage for their annual Teatime Concert. Sixteen students performed instrumental or vocal solos, with a whole host of musical styles being enjoyed by the audience. Perhaps more than any other Teatime Concert this year, the Year Nine showcase had a palpable sense of camaraderie and support, with several non-performing Year Nine students attending in the audience. Those who did perform engaged well with their spectating friends and family, coping well with difficult musical passages and bowing proudly at the end of the piece. The performers, and information about their pieces, are as follows, and we congratulate them all:
Will Hulbert, horn Richard Strauss: Horn Concerto No.1, iii: Rondo
