RGS Rowing Expertise Goes National
The latest issue of Rowing Magazine, the official magazine of British Rowing, read by over 26,000 rowers in the UK, features a familiar face . . . none other than RGS Worcester’s Head of Rowing, Mrs Jane Sullivan.
Mrs Sullivan is featured in the magazine’s monthly Masterclass Technique feature explaining her ‘Go-To Technique Resources’ as part of a wider article written by Olympic Gold Medallist, Steve Trapmore (Sydney eight).
“I was really pleased to be asked to contribute to the magazine which is read by anyone who’s anyone in the rowing world,” says Mrs Sullivan. “My ‘go-to’ recommendations were to watch former GB rowers Mark Hunter and Zac Purchase on YouTube; to watch Henley Regatta races; to read a book called ‘Will It Make The Boat Go Faster’, and, my recommendation for coaches was a book called ‘Coaching Better Every Season’.”
At RGS we are fortunate to have a team of very highly qualified and experienced coaches. It is good to see RGS Worcester recognised as a source of expertise and to be able to share our knowledge with other coaches.
