The U11 Girls from RGS The Grange journeyed to Malvern College to play in a hockey tournament on Wednesday.
In a tough group, the girls remained unbeaten, defeating teams they have previously drawn or lost against during the term, to demonstrate their development so far this year. Playing the best hockey of the season the girls in green found their rhythm creating plenty of chances in the short 10-minute matches. Topping their group consisting of Moor Park, The Elms, Hereford Cathedral, Lucton and Abberley was no mean feat and the girls progressed to the final where they took on King’s St Albans. The match ended up going to penalty shuffles with RGS The Grange trio of Hannah, Fynn and Macey successfully scoring. Eden once again stood tall to make a brilliant save to ensure a 3-2 win on penalties. A superb performance as we come to the end of an extremely enjoyable hockey term.
