At the end of Michaelmas term, the girls were busy out on the AstroTurf, playing their House Hockey matches.
The pupils played small sided (4 or 5 sided) games, which gave all the girls an opportunity to really get stuck in and, once again, I was thoroughly impressed with everyone’s enthusiasm and dedication! The friendly competition between the four houses was excellent, with the girls determined to beat their rivals, but then more importantly, graciously doing three cheers and shaking hands at the end of each match. It was wonderful to see the progress every single girl has made with her hockey skills and understanding of the game over the term.
The girls played ‘beat the goalie’ at the end of the event. A fun conclusion to a great term of Hockey here at RGS The Grange.
