Following the Government announcement on 18 March 2020, the RGSW Family of Schools closed to pupils at 6.00 pm on Friday 20 March and moved to remote teaching and learning from Monday 23 March. The Digital Learning Programme in our four schools allows for high-quality teaching and learning for the pupils. The Schools reopened in September 2020 under guidelines set out to us by central Government.
During the lockdown period, our pupils had been remote learning and we invite you to read various blogs written and view some of the films we made to demonstrate the breadth of learning, by clicking on the buttons below.
In order to support the national effort, RGS Worcester offered parents on the keyworkers’ list, a supervised provision within school, allowing those children who normally attended RGS the opportunity to attend school so that their parents could continue their vital work.
The RGS Worcester Family of Schools takes the safety and wellbeing of its community very seriously and we are continually monitoring the situation, to ensure we are giving everyone the most up to date information. Staff are available to support pupils and parents if they need any assistance during this difficult time.
