Hockey Victory for RGS Springfield!

The Under 8 and Under 9 Girls travelled to The Downs for the first Hockey match of the season. They played three seven minute thirds and the Under 9 team were drawing 1-1 going into the first team talk, with a goal from Olivia Munro. The Downs then fought back to score two goals, but an evenly matched last third resulted in the game finishing 3-1, with some strong performances from Kiera Mountford and Wisal Bashar. 

The Under 8’s played some very attacking Hockey with Isabelle Topping assisting Giovanna Pantaleo to score two goals and win their first ever Hockey match 2-0.
