Year One and Two visited Birmingham Sealife Centre today as part of their Creative Curriculum topic work. They discovered sharks, walked under turtles and stingray, looked at majestic sea horses, laughed at the antics of the penguins, tickled starfish and spotted a giant Pacific octopus. They found Nemo and his friend Dory!! The workshop was very informative about how the 2000 creatures from around the world were fed. There was a lot of excited chatter over lunch about which creatures they had seen and which was their favourite. The excitement continued with a visit to the shop to purchase a memento of their visit. Clutching cuddly turtles, penguins, stingray and a hammerhead shark the children left the Sealife Centre to find the coach for their return journey to school.
