Our aim is that the Sixth Form will witness the maturing of those values that we set out to engender at every stage of the RGS journey. Approaching adulthood, Sixth Formers will not only be the visible example of all that is best at RGS, but will be well placed to make a significant contribution to the quality of the RGS experience.
They will be taking key roles in co-curricular activities, helping to coach younger pupils in a variety of areas – thus developing invaluable confidence in teamwork and leadership – and striving for the best possible academic results.
Here key decisions will be made about each student’s future and the Sixth Form team, together with the Tutors, will be guiding your son or daughter towards greater independence and resilience, aiming to facilitate the skills needed to succeed in a demanding and fluid world.
We are very experienced at supporting the University application process, guiding students to a wide range of universities every year (including Oxford, Cambridge and other Russell Group institutions) and similarly supporting applications to Art Colleges, Drama Schools and Music Conservatoires. We also provide careers advice and support for those seeking to go straight into employment or onto work based training schemes.
