Over the summer, a team of eight Sixth Form boys will be competing in the ‘Tough Mudder’ to raise money for Cancer Research. The team decided to take part and raise money for this charity after the father of one of the boys was diagnosed with cancer. They are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the cause. The ‘Tough Mudder’ is a 12 mile mud and obstacle course which tests your physical strength, stamina, and most importantly teamwork skills. With no podiums, winners, or clocks to race against, the challenge is to complete the course as a team.
The group, which includes Rob Turner (organiser), James Thomas, Maxton Hawksworth, Jacob Williams, Richard Burman, Zac Elsey, Wilf Jenkins and Harry Smith, have a target of £2,000 and will need lots of help and support to achieve this target.
