Lower Sixth student, Felix Haynes is one of just 20 students nationally to have been selected for a RANK Foundation Leadership Award. The Rank Foundation is a charitable trust and selection for scholarships is based on headteacher recommendations, identifying pupils who show leadership potential when entering the Sixth Form.
Felix said: “I am really pleased to have received the Award. It is a fantastic opportunity and I’m very grateful to RGS for supporting my application. As an award holder, I will attend a Leadership Day in London every year and will also complete two weeks of voluntary work. In return, the Foundation will contribute to my Sixth Form school fees. At the end of the Sixth Form, I will become a member of the Rank Fellowship and have access to a network of other fellows, businesses and charities who can help with career decisions in the future. For me, the best part of the Award is the opportunity to meet like-minded young people who will be able to support me throughout my working life.”
