Field Day at RAF Cosford

Success during a field day depends very much on the attitude of the cadets and on our recent trip to RAF Cosford our twelve RAF cadets ensured that they were going to make the most of any activities presented to them.

The morning was spent learning about weaponry and the hearing the experiences of Sargent Taylor, who is our new liaison officer with the air base.  He also put our cadets through their paces with a very skilful drill, all done with a joviality that enthused us all.  It was a good opportunity to meet Sgt Taylor and we are all looking forward to him working with our School.

In the afternoon, we moved to woodland nearby where Warped Sports ran a Laser Combat exercise, which the cadets enjoyed whole-heartedly.  After so much fun and activity the drive back to school was in complete silence, as the cadets enjoyed a well-deserved rest.
