Move Over Lord Sugar!

On the last day of half term, Year One held a Farmers’ Market in the Year One classrooms.

The children were tasked with turning a profit by the end of the afternoon and they surpassed all expectations. They made fresh fruit smoothies, flapjacks and muffins in DT, as well as selling fresh bread and pumpkins. The children used their expert knowledge of money to give the correct change to parents and they sold over £150 worth of produce at a profit of £95.
