School trips are powerful and positive experiences for children of all ages. They provide unique opportunities for children to learn by doing with varied hands on activities in new and exciting environments.

Learning outside the classroom really does add value to each child’s individual academic and personal development and at RGS The Grange, children of all ages take part in termly trips to a variety of centres that are linked to work taking place in school.

Day trips to centres such as the Sea Life Centre, The Snowdome, Cheddar Gorge, Think Tank, Worcester Cathedral, Chedworth, Sudeley Caste and many more, provide both staff and pupils alike with shared experiences and usually some exciting and fun stories to tell when they return to school.

Residential Trips

At RGS The Grange we are proud that our staff want to offer children the experience of a residential trip. Research shows that these trips have a high impact on the following areas;

  • Ability to foster deeper relationships
  • Improvement in pupils resilience, self confidence and wellbeing
  • Improvement in pupils engagement with learning
  • Increased cohesion and sense of belonging
  • Increased opportunities for leadership

All children recount these trips as highlights of their time at RGS The Grange (as do the staff) with many tales from the trips being passed down the year groups and growing exponentially. The current trips we offer are:
