Lacrosse Results Michaelmas 2008

Saturday 29th November
v St Helen's and St Katherine's
1st XII lost 4-8
2nd XII lost 1-11
U15 lost 2-7
Saturday 22nd November
U15 Midlands Schools Lacrosse Tournament
Not the most successful of days, we came 7th out of 8 schools
v Moreton Hall lost 0-3
v Malvern St James lost 0-6
v St Helens and St Katherines lost 0-6
v Stowe lost 1-5
v Uppingham WIN 5-0
Saturday 8th November
We had a very successful Lacrosse weekend with 5 of our girls representing the county in the Senior Counties Lacrosse tournament, all 5 players started for the county team and 3 (Maddie Owen, Biddy Briggs, Stephanie Hills) were then chosen for Midlands Trials - our most in a number of years, with Biddy Briggs gaining a place in the Senior Midlands Lacrosse squad.

1st XII won 13-6
2nd XII won 7-2
U15 lost 4-12
Saturday 4th October
Senior Midlands Tournament
1st team had a tough day with the following results:
v Wycombe Abbey Lost 1-4
v Stowe lost 2-4
v Malvern St James lost 2-3
v Oakham won 6-2
v Pipers Corner won 6-3
Coming 4th overall
2nd team results were as follows:
v Stowe lost 0-2
v Malvern College won 7-0
v Moreton Hall won 2-1
v Wycombe Abbey lost 1-3
v Bedford drew 0-0
Coming 3rd overall
Saturday 20th September
Welsh Rally
1st team
beat Howells 3-0
beat Haberdashers Monmouth 2-0 ( the first time we have done this since I have been at AO or RGSAO and it was a great match - CM Duckworth)
lost to Cheltenham Ladies College 0-2
lost to Moreton Hall 0-2
beat Malvern St James 3-2
beat Westonbirt 2-1
This meant we were 4th overall narrowly missing out on 3rd place by 1 point.

drew with Cheltenham Ladies College(2) 0-0
lost to Cheltenham Ladies College 0-5
lost to Moreton Hall (2) 2-1
lost to Haberdashers Monmouth 1-2
